In Memory

“No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave.”
–
CALVIN COOLIDGE

As we remember those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom, this piece on generational wins and generational prayer from Alliance Defending Freedom is what strikes me today.

While today is a day for looking back at our history, it is also one for looking ahead. What will we do with the gift of freedom – so fleeting – that has been entrusted to us? Will we sit by in comfort and let it be eroded, or will we fight to pass on to our children what was given to us?
