Barto receives ‘Legislator of the Year’ award

June 26, 2010 by nancy_barto

At their annual convention of the Arizona Association of Chiropractic the members recently recognized Rep. Nancy Barto ….for “her dedication and service to the AAC and to the Chiropractic profession”.

As the dinner keynote she recounted to AAC members many of the details of the process of getting important legislation affecting the profession successfully through the Legislature.

As a result of Barto’s efforts regarding HB 2025, Arizona statutes now accurately describe, as well as define, chiropractors’ current practices.

Persistence and chiropractic physicians’  involvement pays off!

    Rep. Barto,

Congrats on your Legislator of the Year Award from the Arizona Association of Chiropractic…….obvious and WELL DESERVED!

I am so sorry that I missed the convention this year (my first missed one in ten years!) but had some last minute emergency family obligations that needed my attention. Everything is fine now on the personal end but now I will unfortunately be stuck getting my continuing education requirements fulfilled elsewhere.

I heard of your mentioning my participation in the legislative process last session and prior session and appreciate your comments that you have made.

As the current AAC Public Policy Chair, I look forward to working with you even more in the future.

I wish you many success in the upcoming election process and look forward to seeing the advancement of your political career.

    Your friend,
    Anthony Gross
